Union Minister of state for HRD Dr Mahendra Nath Pandey said that government has taken biggest step to tackle black money. Talking to media in Chandauli district of Uttar Pradesh, he said, the step is being welcomed by all sections. <br/><br/>Commenting on Samajwadi Party chief Mulayam Singh Yadav and BSP President Mayawati remarks on economic emergency in the country, Mr Pandey said that after demonetization of 500 and 1000 rupees, black money of political parties is also now freezed. <br/><br/>Meanwhile, Uttar Pradesh government has instructed to all districts to collect electricity and water taxes through old currency notes till midnight tonight. The State government has also asked the Varanasi and Agra administrations that in coordination with banks special counters should be opened for foreign tourists. Senior administrative and police officials are also taking round of the banks and post offices for smooth functioning.
