The Uttar Pradesh Governor Mr. B. L. Joshi has been given additional charge of the Governor of Uttarakhand.According to a Rashtrapti Bhawan communique, President Mrs. Pratibha Devisigh Patil has appointed Mr. Joshi to discharge the functions of Governor of Uttarakhand in absence of Mrs. Margarett Alva who is on leave with effect from 14th of this month.
