Bharatiya Janata Party Maharashtra Unit Chief Chandarakant Patil has blamed the rebels for the party's poor performance in western Maharashtra in the State Assembly polls. Speaking to reporters in Mumbai yesterday, Patil said that the party could not control the rebels in time and the division of votes helped Congress and NCP win more seats. However, he said the BJP's network and base has not eroded in the state.<br />''<span style="color: #222222;"><br />''Mr Patil also said that the election outcome is incomprehensible. He added that the party would like to know from  people where it went wrong so it can be corrected in the coming days. The BJP won 105 seats in the polls, down from 122 in 2014.</span><br />
