BJP's national meetings began at Kozhikode, in Kerala this morning with the meeting of national general secretaries, office bearers and key state leaders. Almost all the General Secretaries of the party are present for the national meeting which will continue till 3.pm. BJP President Amit Shah will inaugurate the National Executive meeting in the afternoon by paying floral tributes at the statue of Jan Sangh visionary Deen Dayal Upadhyay.<br/><br/>The Executive will give final shape to the resolutions to be presented in the National Council and will also decide the agenda of the council meeting. The party sources said, resolutions on cross boarder terrorism and economic policies will be discussed in the meeting besides the political violence in some parts of Kerala. The aim of resolutions will be to strengthen the pro-poor agenda of the party, said sources. Amit Shah will chair the Executive meeting. <br/><br/><br/>Prime Minister Narendra Modi will reach at the city tomorrow afternoon to participate in the National Council which is scheduled for Sunday. The highlight of the conclave is a rally to be addressed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on the beach tomorrow. Around ten lakh party workers from north Kerala are expected to participate in the public function.<br/><br/> The meeting would also focus on Deendayal Upadhyaya, whose birth centenary is being marked by the party. PM will inaugurate an year long birth centenary celebration on Sunday marking the culmination of the three day national conclave.
