Kirit Somaiya of the BJP has moved a privilege motion against the opposition Congress members stating that they attributed motives to the Lok Sabha Speaker with respect to the suspension of 25 party members. <br/><br/>Referring to various demonstrations held by Congress and its youth wing, both in the premises of Parliament and outside, he demanded stringent action. Later Parliamentary Affairs Minister M. Venkaiah Naidu suggested that the notice for moving privilege motion be referred to the Privileges Committee of the House. He also expressed grave concern over the burning effigies and attributing motives to the Chair by the agitating Congress members.
