BJP MP Kirit Somaiya has given privilege notice in the Lok Sabha against news magazine Outlook over an article in which it had wrongly attributed some statements to Home Minister Rajnath Singh. Speaker Sumitra Mahajan told the MP that the notice of privilege is under consideration. <br/><br/>On Monday, CPI(M) MP Mohammed Salim had quoted the magazine for the alleged comments made by the Minister to project the ruling dispensation as intolerant. In fact, it was the late VHP leader Ashok Singhal who had made the statement which was attributed to Mr Singh. The magazine later apologised for wrongly quoting the Home Minister.
