BJP's flag yatra was stopped at the Lakhanpur border of Jammu and Kashmir on Tuesday with its three senior leaders Mr. Arun Jaitley, Mrs. Sushma Swaraj, Mr. Ananth Kumar along-with the BJYM President Anurag Thakur were arrested as soon as they entered the State at Lakhanpur in Kathua District of Jammu Division. These top BJP leaders were arrested when they re-entered the state along with the Ekta Yatra of the party's youth wing led by Mr. Anurag Thakur but it was foiled by police which had put up barricades. They were arrested for violating Section 144 which prohibits assembly of more than four persons at any particular place.The Top BJP leaders Mrs. Swaraj, Mr. Jaitley and Mr. Ananth Kumar were deported by the State authorities on Monday from Jammu Airport to Madhopur in Punjab after they had arrived from Delhi to take charge of the Ekta yatra.
