The BJP's Central Election Committee held meeting in New Delhi last evening to finalise the candidates for ensuing assembly polls in Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand. <br/><br/>Prime Minister Narendra Modi and party President Amit Shah besides other CEC members attended the meeting. The name of the some candidates likely to be announced today. <br/><br/>The seven-phase UP assembly polls start from February 11.<br/><br/>Another CEC meeting is scheduled tomorrow in which names of more candidates will be finalised. It had held its first meeting on 11th of this month in which candidates for Goa and Punjab polls were finalised.
