BJP has promised more welfare measures to all sections of the society if it comes to power. Addressing a rally in New Delhi today, Party President Rajnath Singh virtually kick-started its election campaign, raising a range of issues including power tariff hike for the past two years.
Speaking on the occasion, Party's Delhi Unit President Vijay Goel alleged irregularities by private power distribution companies in co-operation with the Delhi Government. He unveiled a 10-point formula to bring down the electricity rates by 30 per cent.
Former BJP President Nitin Gadkari and senior leaders of the Party's Delhi Unit were also present in the rally.
