BJP's campaign for Delhi Assembly election in progress at Ramlila ground

BJP's campaign for Delhi Assembly election is in progress at Ramlila ground. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has reached the venue and is expected to address the rally soon. Party President Amit Shah is now addressing the rally.

Earlier, addressing the rally, senior BJP leader Venkaiah Naidu said, Narendra Modi-led government is committed for the development of the national capital. Mr Naidu urged voters of the city to vote for the BJP. Chief Ministers of Haryana, Jharkhand and Maharashtra are attending the gathering which has been named as Abhinandan Rally to felicitate them. Union Ministers Piyush Goyal and Dr Harsh Vardhan are also present in the rally.

Delhi BJP has made elaborate arrangements to make the rally a success. The party has set a slogan of Ab Dilli Ki Bari Hai after its victories in the recently held assembly polls in Haryana, Maharashtra and Jharkhand.

In view of Prime Minister's rally, Delhi Traffic Police have made elaborate arrangements for the smooth movement of vehicles in the city. Police has advised commuters going to New Delhi Railway Station, Old Delhi Railway Station and ISBT to start early with sufficient time in hand for absorbing possible delays in the routes.
