BJP,JMM discuss political devt in Jharkhand; JMM seeks honourable exit for Soren

JMM leaders after holding discussions with BJP top brass in New Delhi today left for Ranchi. During their interaction with top BJP leaders in the national capital, JMM leader Hemant Soren, Jharkhand Deputy Chief Minister , AJSU chief Sudesh Mahato and state JD(U) leader Jaleshwar Mahato held detailed discussions on the political development in Jharkhand. The leaders also explored the possibility of forming an alternative government in the naxal affected states. Party sources say most of the JMM leaders are in favour of honourable exit for the present chief minister Shibu Soren who triggered the crisis after voting against the cut motion moved by the BJP on Finance Bill in the Lok Sabha. Shibu Soren who is the chief minister of Jharkhand without being an MLA will complete his six months tenure on 30th of next month. <br/> <br/> AIR correspondent reports, a consensus eludes among the BJP and JMM leaders on the continuance of Soren as chief minister till June. BJP chief Mr. Nitin Gadkari held two rounds of discussions with his senior party colleagues to take a final view on the issue. For now, the BJP continues to withhold its decision to withdraw the support from the JMM led government in the state.<br/><br/>
