<span style="color: #222222;">BJP working President J P Nadda has rejected the allegation of politics behind the withdrawal of  SPG security covers to Congress leaders Sonia Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi and former Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh.<br />''<br />''Responding to the issue during Zero Hour in the Rajya Sabha today, Mr. Nadda said the Home Ministry has a very set pattern and there is a protocol related to security cover. He said that the security is given and withdrawn by the Home Ministry according to threat perception and is not decided by any politician.<br />''<br />''Earlier, Anand Sharma of Congress raised the issue citing the threat perceptions to Gandhi family and to Dr Singh and said that removing the SPG cover make them vulnerable.<br />''<br />''Mr. Sharma said even during the UPA rule,  SPG cover of former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee was not removed. He said the issues of security of leaders have to be beyond partisan political considerations. Mr Sharma urged the government to restore the SPG cover of Congress leaders.<br />''<br />''Subramanian Swamy of  BJP  supported the government decision saying there is no special privilege for anyone. He said threat perception is the judgment of Home Ministry and if Congress is not satisfied it can go to court.</span><br />
