In Madhya Pradesh, the ruling BJP snatched the Jabera assembly seat from Congress. BJP candidate Dashrath Singh Lodhi defeated his nearest rival Tanya Solomon of Congress by a margin of 11,738 votes in the bye-poll.Polling was held on 25th of this month in Jabera segment. Jabera seat had fallen vacant after the death of sitting Congress MLA Ramesh Solomon. Congress had fielded his daughter Tanya Solomon on this seat.
