BJP Wins 8 Seats, Samajwadi Party Takes 2 Seats in UP Rajya Sabha Polls

BJP won on 8 seats while Samajwadi Party candidates won on 2 seats.</p>''<p style="margin: 0px; text-align: justify;"><br />''</p>''<p style="margin: 0px; text-align: justify;"><span style="color: #222222;">BJP's RPN Singh, Sudhanshu Trivedi, Chaudhary Tejveer Singh, Sadhna Singh, Amarpal Maurya, Sangeeta Balwant, Naveen Jain and Sanjay Seth won the election. Jaya Bachchan and Ramji Lal Suman from Samajwadi Party won the election, while the third candidate from Samajwadi party Alok Ranjan lost the election. There were 11 candidates in the fray for 10 seats of Rajya Sabha in Uttar Pradesh.</span></p>
