BJP will establish corruption free state in Meghalaya, says HM Amit Shah

Senior BJP leader and Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Thursday said that the Party will establish a corruption free State in Meghalaya. Starting his election campaign with the first meeting of Meghalaya Assembly Elections from North Tura in West Garo Hills Mr. Shah said if voted to power the Party will make Meghalaya number one State of North East India. Mr Shah said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has great affection for the North East so that since 2014 he has visited the region 51 times. No other Prime Minister has ever paid so many visits to the region, added Mr. Shah. He alleged that due to failures of the present incumbent government, the scale of corruption in Meghalaya is highest in India.<br />'' <br />'' The Union Minister said to provide good governance to the people of the State, the party has walked out from Meghalaya Democratic Alliance coalition. Mr. Shah stated his government will ensure education in Garo language at all three levels primary, secondary and higher. He said medical colleges will be set up in Tura and Shillong alongwith nursing courses.<br />'' <br />''Mr. Shah promised that Information and Technology Parks will be established in Garo, Khasi and Jaintia Hill regions. He said, if BJP gets an opportunity it will ensure 100 crore rupees for the MSME sector. He said, better connectivity will be provided to other countries so that State farmers get profitable value for their agricultural produce like organic vegetables and fruits.<br />
