BJP will continue to work for development of North East: Amit Shah

BJP National President Amit Shah asserted that the BJP will continue to work for the development of North East. Attending the first conclave of the North East Democratic Alliance in Guwahati today, Mr. Shah hoped that this group will work as a platform to fulfil the dreams of the youth of the region. <br/><br/>He also said that development is the solution of all problems. Minister of State (Home) Kiren Rijiju said that borders of North Eastern states adjoining Bangladesh including Assam will be sealed next year. <br/><br/>Assam Chief Minister Sarbanand Sonowal appealed all the stakeholders of the alliance to remain alert against jehadi threat. <br/><br/>On the other hand, DoNER minister Jitendra Singh said that the Centre has given much emphasis on the development of the connectivity of North East. Our Correspondent reports that altogether 11 parties have become members of North East Democratic Alliance , which is an arm of the ruling NDA.
