Bharatiya Janata Party has welcomed the Supreme Court's order directing the Centre to arrange free distribution of food grains to the poor instead of letting it rot. Briefing media persons in New Delhi today, party President Nitin Gadkari said that the court's order is a landmark decision in favour of the poor. He said the Centre should implement court's order immediately for the benefit of the poor. He said today's Supreme Court order is the vindication of the stand taken by the BJP on the issue. He also demanded to raise the existing limit of the BPL family from 20,000 to one lakh rupees keeping in view the higher inflation.
