<span style="color: #222222;">Bharatiya Janata Party has urged the Election Commission to reconsider the ban on party Lok Sabha candidate Pragya Singh Thakur from campaigning for 72 hours for her recent remarks on former ATS chief Hemant Karkare and Babri mosque demolition. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">A BJP delegation comprising party leaders Mrs.Nirmala Sitharaman and  Mr.Vinay  Sahasrabuddhe met the Commission in New Delhi over the issue. Talking to reporters, Mr. Sahasrabuddhe said the delegation has told the poll panel that  Pragya Singh Thakur is new in politics and contesting elections for the first time and she has already tendered her apology. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">He said, in view of this the poll panel should rethink on its strict action.</span><br />
