BJP top brass to hold key meeting in New Delhi today

BJP top brass is holding a meeting in New Delhi to discuss the party strategy for the Monsoon Session beginning Tuesday. The meeting, being held at party chief Amit Shah's residence, is being attended by Union Ministers Arun Jaitley, Sushma Swaraj and Piyush Goyal and Rajasthan Chief Minister Vasundhra Raje and senior party leader Ram Lal among others. The leaders are discussing the party's line of defense over Lalit Modi controversy and Vyapam scam in Madhya Pradesh as opposition parties have closed their ranks to counter the NDA government on these issues. <br/><br/>Rajasthan Chief Minister Raje, whose alleged involvement in the Lalit Modi row has seen her being targeted by Congress, is presenting her side of the story to the party so that the government can effectively deal with the opposition.<br/><br/>Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan is also expected to reach New Delhi today to meet Mr Shah. He is also likely to meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi later in the day.
