BJP president Nitin Gadkari said that his party will soon launch a nationwide agitation against rising prices of fertilizers. Addressing BJP's Kisan Panchayat at Bhopal on Sunday, he said that if NDA comes in power in the centre, it will provide interest free loans to farmers across the country.

On this occasion Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan announced that the state government will give a bonus of 100 rupees per quintal on the purchase of paddy on minimum support price from current financial year.
