BJP to celebrate Lok Nayak Jay Prakash Narayan's birth anniversary

BJP will celebrate Lok Nayak Jay Prakash Narayan's birth anniversary at a grand level on Sunday across the country.<br/><br/>The party, which is fighting a tough electoral battle in Bihar against JP's said inheritors and erstwhile Janata Party constituents JD(U) and RJD, will try to corner the grand alliance by the event for its tie up with Congress against whom Lok Nayak had fought. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will attend the main function in New Delhi where around 800 people, who were booked during emergency, will be felicitated.<br/><br/>Party President Amit Shah will participate in a function at Sitab Diara in Bihar, the birth place of Lok Nayak.<br/><br/>Briefing reporters in New Delhi, party General Secretary Arun Singh said the day will be celebrated as Loktantra Raksha Diwas in state capitals and some district headquarters where party ruled state Chief Ministers and other representatives will participate.<br/><br/>He said a series of functions will be organized to highlight the struggle of JP and his role during emergency.<br/><br/>Mr. Singh attacked grand alliance in Bihar saying those who claimed follower of JP has now joined the hand with Congress.
