BJP terms sacking of UP ministers by CM as eyewash

BJP has termed the sacking of two UP Ministers facing corruption charges by Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav as an eyewash. The party said, the Ministers were made scapegoats after the High Court ordered a CBI probe into the alleged mining scandal in the state in which Chief Minister's family is involved. <br/><br/>Talking to reporters in New Delhi today, BJP Secretary Shrikant Sharma said the decision was aimed at publicity in the media. <br/><br/>Earlier in the day, Akhilesh Yadav sacked Mining Minister Gayatri Prajapati? and Panchayati Raj Minister Raj Kishore Singh. <br/><br/>Mr. Sharma alleged that the Chief Minister protected Prajapati for two years after the Lokayukta recommended his dismissal and a criminal probe. Mr. Sharma claimed people have made up their mind to vote out the SP government in the upcoming assembly elections.
