BJP terms Congress claim on surgical strikes as false

<span style="color: #222222;">Bharatiya Janata Party has termed the Congress claim that six surgical strikes were carried during the United Progressive Alliance regime as false. Briefing reporters in New Delhi today, party spokesperson G V L Narsimha accused the Congress of misleading the people on the surgical strikes. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">He said, the then Air Chief Marshal had told media that in 2008 after 26/11 Mumbai terror attack, they were ready for strike inside the Pakistan but did not get the permission from the government. He said, the Congress is the guilty of not allowing  the armed forces to take action. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Earlier in the day, Congress spokesperson Rajiv Shukla  listed the dates of the surgical strikes carried in the past. He said six surgical strikes were conducted when the  UPA was in power while two were carried out during former Prime Minister  Atal Bihari Vajpayee's regime.</span><br />
