The BJP today submitted a memorandum to the President Mrs Pratibha Devi Singh Patil at Rashtrapati Bhawan today requesting her to intervene in the matter of price rise. They also submitted ten crore signatures collected from various states against price rise. Speaking to media after the meeting , the party President Mr. Gadkari said that they have requested the President to ask the government to effective measures to control prices. Mr L.K Advani alleged that the government has failed to tame inflation which is hitting the common man. Earlier top Brass of the BJP,including the leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha Mrs. Sushma Swaraj and leader of opposition in Mr. Arun Jaitely and members of parliament of the party marched to the President House.
