The Rajya Sabha today witnessed unprecedented scenes with members belonging to BJP and SP coming near to blows in the house over Liberhan Commission report on the demolition of the disputed structure at Ayodhya.<br/><br/>The incident occurred immediately after the Home Minister, Mr P Chidambaram laid a copy of the Liberhan Commission report. Immediately after that BJP members raised the slogans like Jai Sri Ram and Jai Bajarang Bali.<br/><br/>Taking serious exception to the slogans, SP members who also countered the slogans like Jai Ali leading to chaotic situation forcing the Deputy Chairman, Mr K Rehman Khan to adjourn the house till 2 PM.<br/><br/>The BJP has strongly condemned the scuffle between its party members with some of the SP leaders in the Rajya Sabha today immediately after tabling of the Liberhan Commission report along with Action Taken Report.<br/><br/>Talking to reporters outside Parliament, BJP leader, Mr Prakash Javdekar said there is nothing to raise the slogans like Jai Sri Ram as Parliament is considered to be the temple of democracy.<br/><br/>The Samajwadi Party leader, Mr. Amar Singh expressed regrets for his action in the house. He said he was ready beg apologies to the BJP leader, Mr S S Ahluwalia and the Nation.<br/><br/>BJP leader Mr S S Ahluwalia defined it as an unfortunate incident. He added that he expected the Chair to take a suo-motu action against the culprits.<br/>Condemning the action, Congress member Rashid Alvi demanded action the SP member.<br/><br/>
