BJP on Tuesday sought the resignation of Food and Agriculture Minister Mr Sharad Pawar for his alleged failure in curbing the prices of sugar and essential commodities. The party spokesman, Mr Prakash Javadekar alleged that he is in league with the middlemen dealing with the sugar trade as it has been observed that prices of sugar escalate after his statement on the sugar prices.<br/><br/>The party also condemned the attack on Indian students in Melbourne, Australia and said that the matter should be rasied at International forums by Indian Government. He said Australian government should live up to their promises that culprits involved in violent activities against the Indian students would be punished.
