The BJP has decided to seek permission from Odisha Governor MC Bhandare to prosecute Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik over the multi-crore dal scam. A delegation of the party will meet the Governor in the next week and seek criminal prosecution of the Odisha Chief Minister under section 197 of IPC.Addressing media persons at Bhubaneswar, BJP national secretary, Kirit Saumaya, said the dal scam is the 'worst scam of 2010'. He said the Odisha Chief Minister has played with the lives of 1.17 crore children and pregnant women by supplying unhygenic and poisonous dal under the Mid-Day Meal and Supplementary Nutrition Programme.
