BJP says Narendra Modi and BJP cannot be viewed separately

BJP on Monday sought to downplay its senior leader Murli Manohar Joshi's remarks that there was no Modi wave in the country but only a BJP wave. Addressing a press conference at Lucknow on Monday BJP President Rajnath Singh said that Modi and BJP can not be viewed separately and rejected suggestions of any infighting. He said that Joshi's statement was wrongly interpreted.

BJP President said that a wave of transformation is blowing across the country and people want change. He accused the UPA government of failure on all fronts including national security and development. Rajnath Sing expressed hope that BJP will win 300 Lok Sabha seats with the ever highest win of more than 58 seats in Uttar Pradesh. He added BJP is contesting election on the issue of development and good governance.
