In Rajasthan, results of the election to 126 civic bodies have declared. The BJP has won 57 posts of heads of civic bodies, Congress 49 and BSP, NCP and Independents have got 20 municipalities. For the election of ward members, BJP candidates have won in 1260 places and Congress 1157. Twenty one candidates of the NCP, 15 of BSP, 2 of CPIM and 637 Independents have been elected as ward members. Rresults of 4 out of the 3,096 wards are still awaited.
