BJP-ruled states to file review petition against SC order on tribals' eviction

The BJP-ruled states will soon file a review petition against the Supreme Court's order related to eviction of tribals living in forest areas. <br />''<br />''Party President Amit Shah on Monday spoke to the Chief Ministers of BJP ruled states on the situation arising out of the court's order. <br />''<br />''In a series of tweets, Mr Shah said, care will be taken to safeguard the rights of tribals and prevent their eviction. He asserted that the BJP is committed to the upliftment of tribals and will do everything to protect their rights. <br />''<br />''Mr Shah also urged them to not fall in the trap of rumours from usual suspects.<br />''<br />''Earlier, Union Tribal Affairs Ministry had said it will do everything to safeguard the interests of the tribals following the Supreme Court's order.<br />''<br />''<span style="color: #222222;">Recently, the Court had asked 21 states to apprise it about the action taken by them over the issue of eviction of tribals and forest dwellers whose claim for the forest land has been rejected.</span><br />
