BJP today requested the Election Commission to reexamine the content of additional information in nomination papers. A delegation of the party led by Union Minister Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi met the commission and said that the party feels that most of the additional information called for are covered already under the existing form. <br/><br/>They said, the additional information can cause duplication and ambiguity and will defeat the very purpose of transparency which is essential for free and fair election. BJP also said that the commission can also explore holding a dialogue with political parties for greater understanding and clarity on the matter. The delegation included party general secretary and MP Bhupendra Yadav, Om Pathak and Parindu Bhagat.
