The BJP promised that if their government is voted to power in Bihar there will no tax on foodgrains including wheat , Paddy and Rice. Releasing Party manifesto along with State Party President Dr. C.P. Thakur at Patna on Wednesday evening senior leader of Party Venkaiya Naidu said that a separate commission will be constituted for the welfare measures for poor people of the forward classes. He said special grant will be given to those who will invest capital in the state. The manifesto has also promised that Panchayati Raj institution will be strengthened and there will be cash transfer scheme for beneficiary under poverty alleviation programmes.
