BJP releases another video copy of Narada video sting

Amidst the ongoing campaign for assembly polls in West Bengal, state BJP today released another video copy of Narada video sting, allegedly showing persons looking similar to two leaders and ministers of Trinamul Congress, TMC, discussing bribes for allotting government work tenders. BJP leaders Jaiprakash Mazumdar and Rupa Ganguly told media persons that a complaint with the Election Commission will be filed as fair and free polls are unlikely in the prevailing corrupt regime. The party demanded a reply from Mamata Banerjee on the issue.

Three BJP leaders and Union Ministers, Sushma Swaraj, Piyush Goyal and Babul Supriyo also raised the issue of TMC corruption citing Kolkata Flyover accident as a pointer, in campaign rallies today. Mrs. Swaraj in a party rally in Durgapur said, the present government has failed to promote development in Bengal amid rampant corruption. Mr. Goyal and Babul Supriyo alleged, only theft and loot has been promoted by TMC. If voted to power, BJP will reopen all the mines that have closed during the past 40 years in Bengal, causing large scale unemployment.

Congress leader Manas Bhunia marched in an election procession and addressed CPI-M candidate Surjya Kanta Mishra's rally at Naraingarh appealing voters to bring the alliance government to power. Mr. Mishra asked people to be on guard to prevent rigging by the corrupt TMC in tomorrow's voting. The first phase of polling will begin the ouster and defeat of the Mamata Government, he said.

TMC leaders refuted the charges. Taking a dig at her political opponents including BJP, Trinamool Congress Chairperson Mamata Banerjee mocked at the CPI (M)-Congress alliance. Calling it unholy and immoral, she urged people to defeat the combine as it has no ideology.
