BJP rejects Rahul's allegation of being targeted in Augusta Westland deal

BJP has rejected Congress Vice-President Rahul Gandhi's allegation that he is being targeted in Augusta Westland Helicopters deal. The party said it has no intentions of targeting Mr. Gandhi but will not spare corrupt people. <br/><br/>Talking to reporters outside Parliament today, Union Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad accused the Congress of telling lie in the matter by calming that UPA government had blacklisted the company involved in the VVIP chopper deal.<br/><br/>Another Union Minister Venkaiah Naidu also did not pay heed to Congress leader's charges saying the government has better things to do and it is targeting poverty reduction and employment generation. Earlier, on a query on chopper deal, Rahul Gandhi alleged witch-hunt saying he is always being targeted. <br/><br/>Recently, an Italian court has observed that there is a reasonable belief of corruption in the helicopter deal. The deal is related to purchase of 12 helicopters from Italian manufacturer, Finmeccanica during UPA rule.
