BJP rejects Rahul Gandhi's allegation against Prime Minister Narendra Modi

Bharatiya Janata Party, BJP has rejected the allegations made by Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi against Prime Minister Narendra Modi. <br/><br/>Briefing media in New Delhi, Senior party leader and Union Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad termed them as baseless saying they are aimed at diverting attention from the alleged involvement of Congressmen in VVIP chopper scam. He alleged that Mr Gandhi is leading his party to repeated defeats and hence he is levelling allegations in frustration. <br/><br/>Mr Prasad said, Congress' history is linked with Corruption wondering why Mr. Gandhi did not raise voice against the previous UPA government's scams. Describing Prime Minister honesty is as pure as the river Ganga, the minister said Narendra Modi's integrity is unquestionable. He added that even the Supreme Court had observed that there is no basis in such allegations.<br/><br/>On the other hand Congress asked why BJP is attacking party vice president Rahul Gandhi for questioning Mr Narendra Modi receiving money from Sahara and Birla groups. <br/><br/>Earlier during a rally at Mehsana in Gujarat, Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi had accused the Prime Minister of allegedly receiving money from Sahara and Birla groups as Gujarat Chief Minister in 2013. <br/>

Bharatiya Janata Party, BJP has rejected the allegation made by Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi against Prime Minister Narendra Modi. <br/><br/>Briefing media in New Delhi, Senior party leader and Union Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad said, baseless allegations are being levelled to divert attention from the alleged involvement of Congressmen in Agusta Westland case. <br/><br/>Mr Prasad said, Mr Gandhi is leading his party to repeated disastrous defeat and hence he is levelling allegations in frustration. He said, recent civic polls results shows that the public does not think that Congress is able enough to run municipalities. He said, the history of Congress stinks with Corruption and the saga of Congress government is to promote looters of public money and to protect them. <br/><br/>Mr Prasad said, Congress did not spare the sky, space, land, under the land and even sea in corruption. He said, not a word was spoken by Mr Gandhi on the series of corruption which had become integral part of Manmohan Singh's Government. On the other hand Congress asked why BJP is attacking party vice president Rahul Gandhi for questioning Mr Narendra Modi receiving money from Sahara and Birla groups. <br/><br/>Talking to media in New Delhi , party spokesperson Randeep Singh Surjewala the matter should be probed by an independent agency. Earlier, Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi alleged Narendra Modi of having received money from Sahara conglomerate as the Chief Minister in 2013.
