BJP rejects Manmohan Singh's criticism of PM Modi, demands of apology over his remarks on Pakistan

BJP has rejected former Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh's criticism of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and demand of an apology over his remarks on Pakistan and Gujarat polls. <br/><br/>Talking to AIR, party spokesperson Nalin Kohli said, instead of answering the questions and allegations against the Congress, Dr Singh came up with counter questions which is a diversionary tactic. <br/><br/>He said, the opposition party should answer on its leader's meeting with Chinese Ambassador without the knowledge of External Affairs Ministry while Indian solders were battling with China in Doklam and meeting with former Pakistan Foreign Minister when election is on in Gujarat. <br/><br/>The BJP spokesperson accused the Congress of negative campaign in Gujarat and running away from the issues. <br/><br/>Yesterday, addressing an election rally in Gujarat Mr. Modi had suggested that Pakistan is trying to influence the assembly polls in the state. He claimed that some Pakistani officials and Dr Manmohan<br/>Singh met at Mani Shankar Aiyar's residence over dinner early this month.
