BJP has rejected its West Bengal leader, Joy Banerjee's remarks on Election Commission, EC, and said it does not represent party's official viewpoint. In a reply to an EC letter, BJP National General Secretary Arun Singh, said his party has always stood for the dignity, neutrality, independence and autonomy of the EC. <br/><br/>Last Sunday, Mr Banerjee in a public rally said, his party has control over the Election Commission and it would ensure adequate deployment of central forces to oversee elections in West Bengal.
