The BJP today reiterated its demand for a separate Telangana State and asked the government to clarify its stand without further delay. This was stated by party spokesman Shahnawaz Hussain while talking to reporters in New Delhi. Referring to the repeated adjournments of the Lok Sabha today over the Telangana issue, he accused the treasury benches of disturbing the proceedings. He said that his party is willing to cooperate in the passage of the Union Budget. To a question on Team Anna’s reported remarks on Parliamentarians, he said, the Team should be cautious while expressing its views.
