The BJP, Punjab Lok Congress and Shiromani Akali Dal (Sanyukt) will contest the forthcoming Punjab Assembly Election together. This was announced by Union Minister and BJP leader Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, who is also the Party-in-Charge in Punjab.
