BJP President Amit Shah, Union Minister Smriti Irani address rally in Amethi

BJP President Amit Shah has criticised Congress and its vice president Rahul Gandhi for neglecting issues of Development and raising question mark on the development in Gujarat. <br/><br/>Addressing a rally at Amethi in Uttar Pradesh today, Mr Shah said, Narendra Modi government at Centre has kept in mind development of all sections of the society and has initiated 106 schemes during last three years for the purpose. <br/><br/>He said, there are two types of model of development- a Nehru-Gandhi model and the Modi model. He said, under Modi model, development of all is priority. <br/><br/>Mr Shah said that before raising question on progress of Gujarat, Mr Gandhi should come forward with details of contributions of his three generations to the country.<br/><br/>Addressing the rally Union Minister of Information and Broadcasting and Textiles Smriti Irani accused local MP and Congress leader Rahul Gandhi for trying to grab land in Amethi which were acquired from farmers for setting up of industry to generate employment for local youths. <br/><br/>She said, people were facing loss of their land due to erosion caused by river Gomati and Mr Gandhi never paid attention to the issue. She said, the Centre and the UP government are committed to resolve the issues of common men to ensure development.<br/><br/>Addressing the rally, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath announced to provide employment to four Lakhs youths in government sector during coming two years. He said, state government will initiate recruitment in police, school teachers and para medical staff on large scale. <br/><br/>Earlier Mr Shah and Mrs Irani launched several projects for Amethi including installation of FM AIR station, primary health centres, TB ward at district hospital, office and residential complexes of District Magistrate, Chief Medical Officer and District Inspector of Schools. <br/><br/>They also distributed allotment letters and other documents to the beneficiaries under PM Awas Yojana, Kaushal Vikas, registered labourers, women and handicapped.<br/><br/>Our correspondent reports that a large number of people were present in the rally.
