BJP Parliamentary Board reconstituted; L.K.Advani, M.M.Joshi, A.B.Vajpayee dropped & included in the newly constituted five-member Marg Darshak Mandal

The newly constituted BJP's Parliamentary Board has been announced today. The 12-member Board which is the highest decision-making body of the party, will be headed by BJP Chief Amit Shah.

Senior party leaders L K Advani, Murli Manohar Joshi and ailing Atal Behari Vajpayee have been dropped from the Parliamentary Board.

However, they have been accommodated in the newly constituted five member BJP's Advisory Board called “Margdarshak Mandal”.

Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan and party general secretary J P Nadda are the new faces in the Parliamentary board. The other members of the board include Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Ministers Rajnath Singh, Arun Jaitley, Sushma Swaraj, Venkaiah Naidu and Nitin Gadkari.

Besides, the party has also reconstituted its Central Election Committee . The 15 member committee will be headed by BJP president Amit Shah. Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Minsters Rajnath Singh, Arun Jaitley, Sushma Swaraj and Ananth Kumar and party leaders Ram Lal and Shahnawaz Hussain are among those who are the member of the committee.
