BJP Parliamentary Board on Monday has endorsed the Party President’s decision to suspend its senior leader and Rajya Sabha member Ram Jethmalani for anti-party activities. Talking to reporters after the meeting of Parliamentary Board in New Delhi, senior party leader Anant Kumar said that a show cause notice has been served on Mr. Jethmalani asking him why he should not be expelled from the party for six years. He said that ten days deadline has been given to him for reply. Our correspondent reports that Mr Jethmalani has, in the last few days, openly criticized the BJP, including on the appointment of the new CBI Director. He had also challenged the party to take action against him on the issue.
