In Tripura, BJP today organized 'Mahakaran Abhiyan' protesting against alleged misrule of Left Front Government. Police sources said, about twenty thousand people took part in the rally. The rally led by party's state president Biplab Deb and central observer Sunil Deodhar marched towards the Civil Secretariat and submitted a memorandum of 11-point charter of demands to Chief Secretary Y.P.Singh.<br/><br/>Talking to AIR News, party's central observer Sunil Deodhar said that the people of Tripura are deprived of enjoying basic rights in core sectors under the Left Front Government which is ruling the state for the last 24 yrs. He said that people have lost faith upon the government. <br/><br/>He also raised allegation of nepotism in preparing beneficiary list for the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana by excluding the genuine poor families in the state. The memorandum also included demand of providing salaries and DA to the state government employees at par central pay scale, introduction of unemployed allowances and hiking wage under MNREGA.
