BJP National Executive meet begins today

The two-day meeting of BJP National Executive Committee will begin in Patna today. AIR correspondent reports that the meeting will start with the address of the party President Nitin Gadkari.<br/><br/>Besides Chief Ministers of the BJP-ruled states, senior BJP leaders including Lal Krishna Advani, Narenrdra Modi, Arun Jaitley, Rajnath Singh, and Sushma Swaraj are expected to participate in the meeting.<br/><br/>It is the first meeting of the new Executive Committee formed by the BJP President Nitin Gadkari. The committee has 352 members including 18 from Bihar.<br/><br/>The political resolution will be adopted in the executive meeting. Political strategy for the coming state assembly elections in Bihar and the current political Situation in Jharkhand would prominently figure in the meeting. The executive committee will discuss threadbare the political strategy to be adopted in the Assembly elections and highlight the good work done by the NDA government in Bihar during the last four and half years.<br/><br/>Problems by the Maoists, performance of the UPA Government and its treatment towards the non-UPA ruled states would also be discussed during the meet.
