BJP national council opposes foreign secretary level talks with Pak

Opposing the proposed foreign secretary level talks with Pakistan , the BJP national council has said that the talks and terror could not co-exist.<br/><br/>The leader of opposition in Rajya Sabha Arun Jaitley presented a resolution on national security in the party’s two day national council’s meet which began today at Indore. He alleged that the fight against terror has been weakened due to vote bank politics. <br/><br/>He said that the talk with Pakistan is being held without taking country, parliament and even Congress party in confidence. He also said that the decisions in the matters of national interest are being taken under USA ‘s pressure. <br/><br/>Supporting the resolution, Gujrat’s Chief Minister Narendra Modi warned the central government to not differentiate between Congress and non congress state governments over terrorism. He alleged that Congress is giving priority to vote bank politics on national interests.
