The two-day BJP National Council meeting is underway in the national capital to give final shape to its roadmap for the next Lok Sabha elections. The Council will discuss and pass two resolutions on the political and economic situation in the country.
The state units will also present reports on their state of preparedness for the Lok Sabha elections and formation of booth level committees. Besides senior party leaders including L K Advani, Rajnath Singh, Narendra Modi, Sushma Swaraj, Arun Jaitely and Chief Ministers of BJP ruled states; around one thousand party office bearers across the country are participating in the meeting.
AIR correspondent reports that this being the last conclave before the general elections and the party will set its roadmap for the battle ahead.
