The BJP Rajya Sabha MP from Uttarakhand Tarun Vijay was injured in an attack by an angry mob while returning from Silgur Devta temple at Chakrata block in Dehradun district. <br/><br/>The incident occurred at Pokhari Village when a group of people pelted stones on him and his followers for allowing Dalit devotees inside the Silgur Devta temple. Tarun Vijay along with the injured followers has been admitted to the Primary Health Center of Chakrata. <br/><br/>Reacting to this, Chief Minister Harish Rawat has said that such incident will not be tolerated. Mr. Rawat has also ordered an inquiry of this incident by the Garhwal Commissioner.
