A BJP member has sought an apology from Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi for his derogatory remarks against VD Savarkar and also lodged a complaint with Lok Sabha Speaker Sumitra Mahajan. <br/><br/>The BJP MP representing Northeast Mumbai, Kirit Somaiya told the Speaker that the Congress Vice President must apologies in Lok Sabha for insulting Savarkar while participating in the Motion of Thanks to the President's address to Parliament. He said, Veer Savarkar is a national hero and a great freedom fighter. Mr Somaiya said, Parliament has already recognized Savarkar's contribution by installing his portrait in the Central Hall.
