BJP MLAs removed from Delhi assembly following ruckus over Chauhan issue

All the BJP MLAs in Delhi Assembly were on Wednesday removed from the house after they kept on trooping into the well of the House demanding admission of a censure motion against PWD Minister Rajkumar Chauhan. As soon as the proceedings of the house began, BJPmembers started demanding Chauhan's dismissal following the Lokayukta's recommendation for his removal for allegedly trying to protect a resort in a tax evasion case. Following the ruckus, the Speaker adjourned the House for 20 minutes. When the House met again, the BJP MLAs reiterated their demand and again the house was to adjourned for 20 minutes. When the House met after second adjournment, the opposition MLAs continued their protest following which Education Minister Arvinder Singh Lovely moved a resolution seeking removal of BJP MLAs from the House.The resolution was passed by voice vote following which the Speaker ordered the marshals to remove the MLAs from the House. The Speaker said the MLAs have been suspended for the day.
