Almost all BJP MLAs were marshalled out from Delhi Assembly on Thursday after they disrupted proceedings demanding resignation of Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit following media reports as her name has been figured in the Shunglu Committee report in connection with alleged irregularities in Commonwealth Games. As soon as the proceedings began, senior BJP leader V K Malhotra stood up and showed a newspaper report that claimed that the V K Shunglu committee has indicted Delhi Lt Governor Tejinder Khanna, Mrs Dikshit and others. On the issue, BJP members trooped into the well and demanded resignation of CM. The Speaker Yoganand Shastri tried to pacify them but in vain. Then he ordered eviction of 22 BJP MLAs from the House. However, Malhotra and another senior BJP leader Jagdish Mukhi were not named by the Speaker but they also boycotted the proceedings and walked out of the House.
